Suzanne Braun Levine
Was the first editor of Ms. magazine. She won a Peabody Award for producing the amazing documentary She's Nobody's Baby: American Women in the 20th Century. She was the first woman editor of the Columbia Journalism Review. She was named a WOMAN OF THE YEAR, plus she gave an inspiring TEDxWomen talk. She is one in the remarkable series The Makers. She has written numerous books that have inspired and encouraged all women - young and old - to awaken to their greatness, to celebrate their second adulthood, to honor the men who support them, and to celebrate the women - girlfriends - in their lives who lift them. She co-authored - along with Mary Thom - the definitive book on the late and great Bella Abzug, and her years at Ms. are in an archive at Smith College.
